It is a nice atmosphere. The food is good and the place is clean. They encourage residents to get out and move around. They go above and beyond.

The Bungalows of Jonesboro has been a wonderful place for my mother. A year ago this January my brother and I moved our parents into The Bungalows. My Dad passed in June unexpectedly and the staff rallied around my mom. Their love and care went above and beyond. I’m so very thankful for this wonderful place. The activities, food, staff and residents here are amazing.

The Bungalows is a great place! My mother is there and they take such good care of her! They have lots of activities to keep her busy and the staff if great!

I can’t say enough great things about The Bungalows at Jonesboro. My parents moved here the middle of January and were welcomed with love and support from every staff member and resident. They have loved all the activities and most of all the delicious home cooked meals. My father passed away just a few days ago and the love and support from everyone here has been amazing. I know my mom will be able to have brighter days ahead because everyone here is rallying around her. My friends and family cannot get over how amazing everyone here is. This has been such a blessing for us, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a wonderful, loving place to help your loved one in their golden years age with grace a support.

The Bungalows are very warm and welcoming. The staff is exceptional especially Belinda. She made my Mother's move seamless. Belinda goes out of her way to help the residents feel at home. My mom has been here since December 2022.. She has had several hospital stays and the Bungalows have been really helpful during that time and called us whenever they thought she needed medical care. The food is great there . They also have several choices of activities daily as well as outings. The apartments are really nice and we feel very comfortable with our mom being there. They have a great staff And they are all very friendly and helpful.

We're so fortunate that Moma is a resident at The Bungalows. The staff is top notch. All interactions have been very kind, caring and professional. My Mom was 96 years old when she left her home and moved to the Bungalows. She was a challenge. She had some health issues, her hearing wasn't the best and she was intent on maintaining her independence at every opportunity. I know she was very nervous and din't want to leave her home. We also faced challenging time issues. My Mom's caregiver passed away suddenly and we needed to find an assisted living facility quickly. My Mom stayed at the Bungalows for nearly 2 years until shortly before she passed away. I believe that although we had little time to place my Mom, we could not have found a better facility had we had a much longer period of time to search. The staff took care of my Mom very well. The residents were friendly. She was able to attend church services there at the facility and that was important to her. She was transported regularly to medical appointments. By the time my Mom left the Bungalows, she regarded the facility as her home. I think that is the highest praise I can offer the Bungalows at Jonesboro and I would highly recommend this facility to family members who are in need of assisted living facilities.

My dad has been at the Bungalows for a year and a half and we are very happy with our living arrangements at the Bungalows! There is such a family atmosphere where everyone feels included whether they are in the cafeteria or in the activity room. There are activities opportunities for everyone—trips to the movies or out to eat or going to see Christmas lightys and daily activities of crafts and card playing, etc.! The Holidays are amazing! There is such a festive time at all the Bungalows from New Year’s and Valentine’s Day and they are over the top at Christmas!!!! They have parties and get to gathers during the Holidays and for Birthdays! Our family highly recommends the Bungalows and their staff for someone that needs to transition from their home.

I am very proud to say I am a part of the team at The Bungalows. So often we spend so much time with our co-workers and they quickly become family, we are blessed in that we get to become family with our team and with our residents. To say the team cares for the residents is an understatement, they care and treat them like family and it is a great family to be a part of!!!

The staff is so nice, the residents are like family to my mom, and the food is excellent.

It is healthy, clean, active, and supportive community. The director of the facility makes sure that the facility works well. The ladies in the kitchen are also fantastic. The maintenance/facilities manager is also wonderful. He is really friendly and able to always able to take care of what needs to be done. There are a couple of long term staff members that have been there in a while that go above in beyond.

They try to make it as homey for people that they can with the time and money that the Bungalows has. In day to day living, they are able to accommodate for reasonable requests.

Her caregivers frequently check in to ensure she is joining the scheduled activities. She resides in a private, spacious room.

This is a hard seasons of life, especially when my parents are leaving home. They have made it a wonderful experience to transition my parents there. Everybody is friendly and they seem to care about their job and the residents.

They take good care of you

I would say your needs for the services they offer such as medical and receiving medication are attended to. They ask others about their health issues and I think if youre in the need for elderly care, it's a great deal. If more people could afford it, there would be more people who did it. Cost is a factor, but it was a reason I chose Jonesboro.

They let people have their pets as long as they meet the regulations and as long as they aren't disruptive to other people's lives. Overall I think they try to make it a place that isn't the type of place that it is. They put a lot of effort into making it not just the same old thing. They work very hard for it to be a friendly and safe place.

They're extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. They provide different ways to reach the resident, and they keep the family informed of any issues.

It's the perfect place. We've heard a lot of horror stories about other Assisted Living places, but this is a better alternative than her being home alone or having someone come stay with her at home. She has everything there she needs. We'd like her to participate more in activities, but she doesn't enjoy being social.

I would tell them its a good place and management is good and quick to respond whenever I have concern. However there are some people that interact with the residents who are caring and some are less caring.

Mom is not a joiner or a very social butterfly, but the staff and admin here are bringing her out of her room and her shell one activity at a time. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks to you all! Cary

I would say that it is organized and there is a lot of activity going around to see them enjoying themselves. It feels like home . It doesn't feel like an institution and that's important. People are looking for that aspect.

I would say that the community is very clean, smells good , the staff is courteous and that she is well taken care of.

My ex-husband moved into the Bungalows at Jonesboro. I found the place, as a whole, a very lovely place to live. The administration is beyond helpful. There hasn't been an issue that they haven't helped us resolve or come up with some type of solution for. Overall, we are very pleased. I think the day that he moved in they brought him breakfast to his room. He said it was very good. They showed us all the facilities and the different rooms where activities took place. I would recommend it, but there are some things I think they could do better on. It's a good place. My mother likes it here.

My mom has lived there for almost 10 years, and she is happy there. The facility is clean. The staff is courteous and caring. The management team works their backsides off. There is a couple of ladies that have been there for a long time, and if it wasn't for them we probably wouldn't have stayed for as long as we have. There is a new nurse, and she is going above and beyond.

I have already recommended it to a few people. If you're needing somewhere for your loved one to go that you can't check on them every day, then this is the place to go. They are very well taken care of.

I toured The Bungalows with Belinda and I left with several positive impressions from the visit. It was clean, decorated to the nines, smelled and looked like a high end hotel. The residents were smiling and engaged, the staff were friendly and happy. They did not appear to be understaffed and you could tell they truly care about the residents. The apartment was more than sufficient and my favorite part is the resident's personal patio just off their living room. I would live there in a minute! Belinda is pretty amazing, too!

You definitely need to do your research and look at the Bungalows. I know each case is different, but for overall needs in this department I believe the Bungalows are the best, especially in the area. Check it out and see if it is a fit for you.

It's a great place for them to stay. If they don't want to get out, they have everything facilitated to them here. They have people to help them. It gives the residents peace of mind in case they fall or need help. It's a great community for elderly people.

I like that The Bungalows at Jonesboro has larger activity rooms. They have a lot going on and a lot of playing. The facility was very clean. They do the residents' laundry for them. They have an LPN on staff 24/7. They do lots of things for them, and everything's included. They do medical management. They're pricier than the other place, but they have more things available to the person living there. It's a one-story facility and every room has a patio off the back. They supply a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff during the tour was very organized and gave me a lot of information I needed. She knew her stuff and took extra time and went through a lot of things with us. The residents there said the food was good and nutritious. You have a menu that you can order from and they have an alternate menu if you don't want to order what they're having that day. They have them get up and get dressed and go down to the dining room to eat. They have juices and peanut butter crackers and little snacks for them in between. It's just so reassuring to know that someone is there to take care of your mom. I can tell that the whole community that works there really cares about my mom. It puts me at peace knowing she's in good hands.

Compared to places my dad has lived before and places we've looked, this has a more cozy and home-y feel to it. The staff is super friendly. They have staff onboard who understand and know how to address residents with dementia. We've learned quite a bit from the staff about dementia.

It's a nice place with a nice staff. They have really good meals there. They always have activities going every day so the residents have something to do. Mom doesn't know when meal time is so they come down to let her know when it starts. If she doesn't show up, they'll go back by and remind her again. If her friends notice that she's not in the dining room, they'll tell the staff to get her.

I don't have another community to compare it to, but I'd recommend the Bungalows and already have. I see enough good there, and I like how it's set up. Mom likes that there are no stairs or elevators. I like having Mom there. My father-in-law was there previously as well.

It's a caring staff that really seems to take care of the residents.

The location of the Bungalows is less than a mile away from our house, it's between my husbands work and where we live. I had parents in a nursing facility pretty close to there who did not qualify for assisted living, but this is my father-in-law who's there. When we started this search, we checked several different places in town. We were down between a couple places and the staff at The Bungalows was very kind. They were very kind, very helpful, and very informative with the whole process. [name removed], was accessible to me anytime I had questions and I did utilize that. I told [name removed] that my father-in-law is [age removed], but he's been used to taking care of his own business up until recently. He's very hard of hearing, but he wanted to be apart of them talking to him and allowing him to be apart of which room he chose and what he wanted. He really liked the respect of that. They took us to see several different rooms, we were looking at a 1 bedroom studio-type apartment and he chose where he wanted to be and he chose The Bungalows. He's been in Florida for 25 years and as we finally got his stuff back here, set his room up and his pictures on the wall - he hadn't been alone in a long time so it took him a while to adjust to that. We went over there one day and his was in the shower, while we waited in the living room. We started looking around, it looked and felt very homey, it had a very nice feel. It was clean, with my parents being in a nursing home it's a different scenario where you dread walking in to what you may find. Here, it's clean and there are no bad odors. Right off, he started getting involved in some of the activities. The first thing was toss bag baseball. He's traveled to a couple different areas in town to compete. We have a screen printing business so we made some shirts for the team and they very much enjoyed having those. We are in the middle of trying to find more activities. I'm unsure of if he's not watching his calendar, but we asked for one to be emailed to us so we could have it at home and remind him of what's coming up. With the food, he's not had much of a complaint. Overall he loves the lunches as they are the biggest meals of the day. Supper, not so much, but the hotdogs and lotter stuff he's fine with that. He does make sure to speak up when it comes to food and other times he doesn't, as he knows it can't be prefect. When he does speak up they have been very kind at accommodating him. He has a neighbor across the hall that he likes to sits with, they are both veterans so they have a lot to talk about, so he enjoys that. Sadly and joyfully it's been nice that I ended up finding out that one of my good friends from church's mother had just moved in down the hall. I was able to see her a couple times, which was nice because I hadn't seen them in a while. Her mother did pass unexpectedly, but I then found that another friends dad had just moved in last week. Coincidently in the same room as my other friend's mother, so that's been nice. To me, its a little exciting that my father-in-law is here, he has been away from Jonesboro for 25 years. He's missed out on a lot, but it's been exciting and a joy to have him back here with his grandsons and his great grandchildren, so that's been nice. My husband and one of my sons play instruments in the praise band at our church. For the first time, on Monday night, our church went over with instruments and singers and sang that night for the residents. It was very wonderful and heartwarming. I think they've planned to go back. They do have transportation and they do allow pets. We pick up my father-in-law for most of his appointments like his cardiologist because we need to hear what they say. Every 6 weeks he goes to an eye doctor which sometimes can take 2-3 hours. He is now riding the transportation bus for those visits and doing those by himself and that has worked out nicely, except for a time when he forgot his appointment time and got on the bus too early. We gave him a list of medications and phone numbers, so he wont forget, but it may be best for us to call the transportation service ourselves. We are just learning little things to make things better and easier for ourselves and for him. He actually had a 2-3 day stay in the hospital since he's been there, because he was missing his medication and his blood pressure rose. My husband just happened to visit and he was not able to understand his speech, so he took him to the emergency room. My husband was in contact with the nurse [name removed] before he went. This happened on a Sunday night, so she normally wouldn't have been there and although she was, I'm sure she was on her way out. She gladly came down to take his blood pressure and to take a look at her, and gave him some blood pressure medicine. Because we can't afford the extra care services, we've had to be more hands on with his medication. We were going to keep an eye on him, but we decided it was best to go back and get him and take him to the emergency room. I'm sure that I received some follow up calls from someone during that time, and I do think [name removed] the nurse was communicating with my husband and [name removed] was communicating with me. So, they did know when it was time for him to come back. Now, that Sunday night I'm unsure if anyone knew that he ended up going to the emergency room, but I could be wrong. He was having a little trouble getting used to the fact that most of the people may not be quite as alert. He's so used to being so independent at home, to now having people wake him up in the morning and take him down to breakfast, so he's working on that. We've explained to him that they'll be in and out to change the trash, or do his laundry, but they do knock before entering. It is funny listening to my father-in-law try to learn the names of the staff who come in and out of his room. The young man from APFM who helped me in the beginning: I would rate him very high. He was very nice and very kind.

It is a very caring and gracious, resident-oriented community where everyone is well taken care of. The staff meets the residents' needs to the best of their ability.

Based on our experience, it is a quality place. They are very supportive. It is very clean, and the staff is friendly. They do a lot to support their residents.

I visited every assisted living facility in our city and from the moment of our tour, until this day the entire staff have been amazing to me and my mother. With all the activities, food and just the right assistance. She is truly living her best life. She has made new friends and the staff have become her second family.

They take good care of them. The place is neat and clean. The rooms are a good size, and they have activities for them to do. They have bingo and singing, which my mom really likes. It is a good place.

The community is wonderful and peaceful. Everyone is kind, and they watch over them, big time.

They're family friendly. At my age, I look at these kids like they're my grand children. They're my family.

It's a good, safe place. Management right on down through the majority of the rest of the staff try to make it like you'd want it to be if you called it home here.

They're nice and friendly. They work with you. I like that you can make appointments to use the van service. When I'm working, the staff will use the van to take Mom to her appointments. That's so helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, it was very clean, the rooms were neat and the beauty shop was very nice and clean. I was very impressed!

I love living here, have made lots of friends & a lot of friendly employees that are nice & friendly and very helpful. And the place is very peaceful. And we have a lot of fun.

The staff is very caring. The rooms are bigger than most. They have their own patio to go outside, and they have a courtyard. They have various activities throughout the day. They even have concerts sometimes.

I can be content knowing that my mom is being taken care of. She is able to be active and do the things she loves. She thinks she lives independently, which is good. The food is good, and the activities are good.

We highly recommend it based on the great staff, the cleanliness, and the residents are overall very nice. The food is good, they have a lot of activities, and they are helpful toward my grandma.

What I like about The Bungalows is they really do take care of your loved one. I haven't had any worries with my mom, even when she has had problems they were also there to help with everything and check on her. As a daughter it's reassuring to know that my mom is being taken care of, especially if I can't be there all the time.

They were very nice but a little slow on getting paperwork done in the beginning. But other than that everything has been great. The apartment here was bigger than most of the others that I looked into and she's got a one bedroom that is perfect for her. I would recommend the Bungalows to other families looking.

The staff at the community are friendly and patient and they treat the residents good. The community offers good activities and the community encourages the residents to interact with each other.

It's a good option for people who need assisted living. They offer apartments instead of studio apartments, which we liked. The downside is that there are only two wheelchair accessible bathrooms, which was an issue for us because she broke her hip. We were very surprised that they didn't have more handicap bathrooms.

It's a great community and we've looked around., and they were clearly the best option for our parents. They are great at what they do here.

I toured The Bungalows at Jonesboro for my mom, and it was very good. They were nice and accommodating. They have a nice courtyard, a nice community area, and a dining room. They also have activities, a hairdresser, and a salon. They have a courtyard in the middle of the facility and a lot of the units we're facing towards it. It is a great place. If you have your right mind, it is a wonderful place to be with others. It is hard for my mother with dementia.

I do not make recommendations lightly. They have good management and they are professional. They take care of any concerns, and they will notify you of any concerns.

We love the room setup. It is great. We have been very pleased with this. We know we came at a bad time during the pandemic and transition of management. They may be short-staffed. The medicine schedule has not been as consistent as we were hoping for. The extra care for bathing and dressing has been sporadic. The staff are sometimes resentful. We know it can be a hard job.

It's a good quality community, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the building and apartments are all very nice and well-kept, and it's safe and secure.

There are members of the staff that you know will take good care of the residents. There are a few in the administration that go above and beyond and then there are some who are like whatever. Overall we have been very pleased with the care my dad receives. They are very helpful in guiding you to what care your loved one needs.

Morningside is a wonderful resource. They have answered all of my questions about mom. They always take time to explain the best ways for me to communicate sensitive topics with my mother. Morningside knows my mom by name and doesn't hesitate to go to her room if she is not answering her phone. I sincerely couldn't have asked for a more caring facility!

The Morningside of Jonesboro staff are phenomenal! They go above and beyond to assist their residents to make their stay more like home. Morningside staff truly feel like family. Sheila is a true "Angel" in disguise. She takes the time to get to know each resident. Recently she patiently assisted my brother in getting his Alexa reconnected so that he can enjoy his Country Music. She is truly an amazing person. She is definitely an advocate for the residents. She will have many jewels in her crown! During this COVID-19 pandemic, the staff have done an exceptional job in keeping the residents safe as well as entertained. I truly am so thankful for Morningside and the quality of life they have helped my brother have while a resident.

My Mother lived at Morningside for 5 years. The facility and staff are excellent and took great care of Mother. Only because of need for more advanced care and to move Mother closer to family we had to make the difficult decision to mover her. Shelia and her staff are the best. I give Morningside 5 Stars!! My great aunt was a resident for 3 years. The staff is fantastic and made this her home. She loved all of the staff and they all loved her. They offer a lot of great activities, there is always something happening. I can't say enough great things about Morningside of Jonesboro.

The staff there is compassionate and truly caring their hearts are in their jobs and they are very genuine... your loved one will be well cared for..

I think that all the bases are covered with the team of Culpeppers. Clean, great meals, transportation and activities to keep the mind fresh. Security, lock boxes and observation of those that are weak. Would live there myself when the time comes.
