Welcome to Summit Place of Kings Mountain

I've recommended this community to others and told them how great it is. When I tell others that my dad is at this community, I get a good response from them. They tell me they've heard good things about it. This makes us very happy.

In my experience, this community feels more like home than a hospital, and that makes the residents feel more comfortable.

The community is very nice and very well kept. The best part is, it's very convenient to where I live. Everything seems nice and the staff is too.

I like this community because it is clean and the staff is caring. There are always activities for the residents to participate in. The staff gets the residents out of their rooms and doesn't have them sitting around all day doing nothing.

Summit Place is a secure and immaculate residence with a caring staff. This is what families consider when they are compelled to place a loved one in a facility such as this. We visited several facilities and feel that we made the correct decision. The community at Summit Place is outstanding.

We have recommended you guys before. It is a clean community where they will care for your loved one and the location you can not beat it. We live in Kings Mountain.

I am satisfied with Summit Place of Kings Mountain. The quality of care is good, but there are certain areas where improvements are needed. The culinary department needs to improve the quality of the food, and the response to call buttons needs to be more prompt.

I would recommend that they go somewhere else.

I think they are very kind to her as a person. They know her and she knows a lot of them. It is a very personable atmosphere. With so many different problems going on, it really shows that they care.

The staff is courteous and respectful, and Mom enjoys their meals and activities, but they could improve their move in process by getting everything together in the beginning so it's not forgotten.

Overall, it is an awesome place. Rebecca, who works in marketing, is wonderful, and Allen, the Executive Director, is great. They make a fabulous team. The lady in charge of the pearl is awesome. She always asks about my granddaughter if her grandmother had a good time and what she did while out. She genuinely seems to care about my mom. She is very supportive and is always attentive. She seems to sincerely enjoy my mom. She cares about mom's well-being.

From my experience, it's been good for my mother. She's getting worse and they do a good job.

The building is very nice and the staff is confident and friendly. The activities are stimulating.

It's very family oriented. It is also very clean. The community is small enough that they can give each of the residents the attention they require.

If I could get her sisters to move in I would. I think and first and far most it has a homey feeling and does not feel like an institution. They are attentive and make sure mom is taken care of. It looks nice and clean and it is in a wood area. You can fix the rooms up like an apartment rather than a hospital room.

I have been to a lot of communities like this and they are all lacking in some way or another. The Sumit Place of Kings Mountain is one of the best places I have seen and this is why she is there.

If you like a small community it is a good place for that. I like that about it. It is a good place for assisted living residents.

The meals are good and the care is good. The communication is also good.

Her sister is there now. My uncle passed away and now her sister has moved there into her apartment.

They are like a family at the Summit Place of Kings Mountain. With my mom, we had no help before and the nurses, cafeteria ladies, even the bus driver is like our family. I didn't have to feel alone at all.

The Summit Place of Kings Mountain is the best community in Kings Mountain.

Mom is 94, and she is healthy, clean, communicative and well taken care of.

It's a very nice community. The common areas are very nice, the staff is super friendly, and they provide lots of different activities that Mom enjoys. She's made friends out there including some of the staff. You do need to pay attention to the care your loved one gets out there though.

It's in a great location, it's very safe there, everything is very clean. The cleaning of the rooms is done very quickly and could be done more thoroughly, the laundry could be done better.

I like that she's able to bring her own belongings to the place, it was like walking into her own home since she had her own furniture there, it made it more comfortable and abiding.

For me, it's convenient and close. The staff is nice and friendly. As long as my mom is happy, I'm happy. She likes it, and that means the most to me.

I'd say they do everything to my satisfaction.

One thing I don't like is they charge $3 per meal to take it to her room if she wants to eat in her room. Recently I got a letter stating that they aren't supplying towels and washcloths anymore so I had to go out and buy all of that.

It's very friendly and clean. The staff is wonderful. It's a nice place to live. There is lots of stuff to do there. It's a nice atmosphere.

I don't have experience with other places, but I have a feeling this is as good as it gets. I don't think we could find better care anywhere else, and I'm happy with it.

You should definitely check this place out for your loved one. I had so many people tell me good things about this place. The nurses and other staff were so helpful. They were just very welcoming here. Just check if your loved one is a fit here first before anywhere else.

They have been very informative and very helpful getting my dad settled. It was really hard for him to transition, and they were so helpful getting him involved and settled. He has been very receptive to this place.

I still feel like they're above what a lot of places are. I feel like they try to come through for the residents overall.

When we first got there, everything was great. I believe they want it to be better, but there has been so much change. Administration has changed and ownership has changed more than once. In the beginning, I would have recommended them hands down over anyone else. Now, I wouldn't give a recommendation at all.

They keep having staff turnover. I know it's hard to keep people with the economy right now; but until that stabilizes, it's hard to keep this at a 5.

If you are from kings mountain it's nice because it's like a little community there and you will know everyone. My mom has enjoyed it and has had a much higher quality and healthier life. She has stayed more independent than she would be if she lived with us since she does have to live on her own.

The friendliness of the staff and the caring components are good. My family is safe here. They have regulations for falls, and they are very quick to communicate. They have upgraded the dining room, and they keep doing things to make the community look good. It is close by.
